I put them all in the dishwasher, however with a newborn (personally) I would sterilize them....

Thanks! I have the advent microwave sterilizer. I'm hoping they fit in there. How long should I use that vs. the dishwasher?

Well our doctor here said to sterilize everything for a year, but once the kid was down on all fours eating old popcorn from under the sofa, I stopped doing the sterilizing thing!!!
A lot of girls here just put theirs in the dishwasher, but I preferred to err on the side of caution and sterilize!!!

Check this thread
I just used my dishwasher, and put all the little pieces in that thing, and used my dishwasher on the sani-rinse cycle. But if you sterilize, you only have to do it the first time, when they are new out of the package.
