Dr. Anita Sadaty

My OBGYN is no longer delivering babies. Hubby and I are trying to conceive but we don't want to wait until the last minute to find a good OBGYN. Dr. Anita Sadaty at Great Neck Obstetrics and Gynecology was recommended by a co-worker. Does anyone know about her?

im looking into this practice as well. i dont have any advice but i am looking for an ob/gyn in the same area with the same affiliations so any rec's would be helpful

She is my doctor and I LOVE her, as well as the entire practice. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire office.

Highly recommend!

Thanks julesrbf If you don't mind me asking...how long have she been your doctor? I have been seeing my GYN for 11 years now and I am looking for that same kind of relationship.

Also, I read on some reviews that the wait to see her is long when you have a scheduled appointment.

No problem! The longest I ever waited for her in-room was for my annual, which was about a half hour ... but since my pregnancy I've seen her both first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening and never waited more than 10 minutes. I never mind a wait though because I know things never run according to plan in a doctor's office.

I just switched to this practice in June. I saw her for my annual and came back two and a half months later pregnant! So I don't have a long-standing relationship with her, but I feel very comfortable there - something I did not feel at my old practice and a major reason I left - that along with reading some terrible things about my doctor.

They are speedy, efficient and happy to answer all questions. The front desk staff is great, the nurses are wonderful ... I can't say enough good things!

ETA good luck in your search! Hope you find a practice/OB that makes you feel happy and comfortable - most important thing!

that is who i go too and i think she is amazing! i think you cant go wrong with any doctor at great neck obgyn

A few friends go to this practice and they are happy with the doctor care. They did say though that its a very busy ppractice and they do wait a long time. You also have to go to the hospital for tests rather than in office.

I use Preferred Women's Health in Great Neck and am very happy there.

I love Dr. Sadaty and the whole practice (particularly Dr. Rifkin). The nurses and reception are amazing as well. I've been seeing her for 3 years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice.

I do try to schedule appointments for first thing in the morning. I usually don't wait any longer than 10 minutes, though I know the wait can be longer if your appointment is in the middle of the day. But, honestly, even then, the wait has never seemed too long or bothered me.

And, another plus for this practice is that you have all your sonograms and tests right in their office. I've never had to go somewhere else for a test (this is my second pregnancy).

Good luck! You can't go wrong with this choice.

I have nothing but great things to say about her and all the other doctors at that practice. I've been going there for years, I never have a long wait (10 mins in waiting room, maybe 10 mins in exam room), and I've never had to go anywhere else for tests. The one thing I would say is to call well enough in advance for an appt, she books up fast, especially if you need to go at a specific time or day of the week.

Agree!! The whole staff is wonderful. Dr. Terry Rifkin belongs to the same practice and he delivered my girls but Dr. Anita Sadaty is wonderful as well. If Im not mistaken she delieverd Jennifer Lopez' twins!
