Down coat
My six year old shot up overnight and I need to get her a new winter coat. I’d prefer a down puffer - I feel like that’s a little more squashable under car seat belts. We had the road coat but they only make until size 6. Any recs on a brand?

Re: Down coat
Got the most gorgeous light pink down coat for my 6YO DD for about $45 at Abercrombie outlet in Deer Park this week. Super quality with Sherpa lined hood, detachable faux fur- getting a ton of compliments on it already.

Re: Down coat
My FIL bought DD a gorgeous north face jacket at Macy's. It is reversible....puffer on one side and this faux furry stuff on the other. Super warm but thin

Re: Down coat
I haven't gotten it yet, but I ordered a down alternative jacket from Land's End for 50% off. I think they had down coats too.

Down coat
I find Patagonia coats to be thin and warm. But they should always be taken off in the car seat.

Thanks! I think I’m going to get her the one you described but with the hood (not reversible)!
