Double Strollers

How long was your older one in a stroller? DS#1 is almost 3. I'm not sure how much use we'll get out of it. He is a handful. I mainly want him strapped down when we are out.

Do you prefer side by side, front and back or top and bottom configuration?

Can you recommend a stroller that fully recline with leg support for naps and large enough that DS won't outgrow very soon. DS#1 is 40" and 40lbs.

DS is now 2.5, DD is 15 months.

WE barely use the stroller. I do have an inexpensive one that is a side by side double. It is a Joovy & is MUCH bigger than other strollers I looked at (more comfy for my big boy).

Needed it a lot more when he was 2... but he just doesn't want to sit in it & it's easier to take along a single (just in case). DD walks well too & we will go to the park & mall without a stroller most times. We would use it if we went all day to an amusement park.

We have the indie bumble ride twin. It is a great stroller. If given the opportunity both my boys can still fit comfortably in it. (DS #1 4.5 and ds #2 3.5) My boys are stroller babies. They are tall but not that heavy.

I would go with side by side especially since your older ds is already 3. I'd imaging he wouldn't be that comfortable in a tandem.

City Mini double I love for my DD who is 4 and my DS who is a big 2. I use the stroller like you said to keep them contained at stores and such.

My sisters kids are 4 and 6 and they still use the double stroller.

ETA: idk what kind it is, but its a side by side jogger

DS is 3.5 & DD is 7 months we have the Maclaren Twin Triumph and love it! Very lightweight & the seats recline.
