ok im confused. you go to the dr in most cases 8 weeks after your last period. and i know that technically its 6 weeks after ovulation.

which date counts? i go to the dr next week and im freaking out. i cant handle another MC and i dont know if i am 6+wks or 8+wks... i really am curious so i know heartbeat wise.

this will also be the first time at a new office, new dr, new everything so im extra stressed.

Most doctors mark your gestational age based on the first day of your last menstraul period. If you have irregular periods then they will use a first trimester ultrasound to date your pregnancy. Best of luck!

So since i will be 8wks after lmp i should expect a pretty strong heartbeat? Like 100? More?

if you are 8w+ you should absolutely see a heartbeat. it should DEF be above 100.
