Dora at the Patchogue Theater

Just wanted to rave about this show.

We were up to NY for an extra long weekend and my mom bought us tickets to take the kids to this show.

I wasn't sure how they would do, but the tickets were only $10 so I figured if we had to walk out, no big deal.

Well, DD LOVED it. We had such a blast, and DS (8 months) seemed to enjoy it too (their website says kids must be at least 2, but the ticket person told us we just had to buy a seat for him).

Anyway-if anyone is looking for something to do and you have kids who like Dora and Diego (he's in it too), it's really cute and worth the $10 pp.

It's Dora Pirate Adventure-we have it on DVD but it was adorable live.

We are going in August too. It looks really cute. We saw the other show at radio city and this one is a lot cheaper. DD is excited!

We saw this the other day and it was really cute. Quality props, nice theater, and you can't beat the price. Def. comparable to a show you would pay out the nose for at a major theater. They have a bunch of shows, they are on the Gatewayplayhouse.com website

I don't know where you got them for $10, but the lowest price listed on their website is $25 for students. Otherwise, they are $50 and up.

ETA: Found the children's prices...great price!

Maybe an hour and 15 minutes? there was an intermission too, which annoyed me at first but gave me time to do diaper changes.

Glad so many people are able to use this info!

I saw that, but my mom bought the tickets over the phone and the woman told her that DS (8 months) could come as long as we bought him a ticket.

We did, and we had no problems.

I didn't see a lot of infants, but I did see a lot of kids under 2. As long as you have a ticket, you should be fine!
