door knobs and lighting..

ok, so i bought all of the same doors for my home and they all have oil rubbed bronze hinges...which means i should get oil rubbed bronze door knobs.

problem is, for example, my half bath has brushed nickel fixtures.

what would you do?

keep all the knobs bronze and and just mix metals within the half bath and wherever else i use nickel?

I'd then get crystal or faux crystal knobs.

ohh that may work. because im actually doing that for my kitchen cabinets and that could tie the whole house together.

there would still be metal showing...do you think the bronze, since there would be a lot less, would be ok then? because you know that part that the crystal attaches to, that would still show a bit.

I think at that point, there would be so little metallic area showing, that no one would even notice what you chose, KWIM?

I have seen crystal knobs with bronze/nickle and I think it looks so polished.

No problem! I love crystal knobs, always have since I was a little girl.

I keep thinking I should just make the plunge and buy them and be done with it.
