Door jamb and door for my back door (exterior) ?

right now i have a dutch door that loses so much heat! and an exterior door that has no latch. total disaster.

i need to replce the threshold due to water damage, so i figure i'd have to replace the whole thing.

not including the door, what kind of dinero am i going to spend?

i've never had to do such a thing.

we just put in a new energy efficient back door, I think it was like 2 something which included the frame. We have not gotten the storm door yet though.

I have the same thing, threshold is rotted. My dad is pretty handy but he told me it's hard to replace the threshold without replacing the entire door. It stinks because I like my door. I was thinking of calling a carpenter for a quote and seeing if it can be done and how much. If its anywhere near the cost of a new door I will just get a new door...

We replaced our front door and storm door for $500 for the labor. The steel door was $250 at HD and the storm door was $150
