Don't shoot me. When does Santa come to the mall?
Dh and I just got our work travel schedule and its crazy for the next couple of months so we are trying to plan everything in advance. Do you think he will be there the first or 2nd weekend in Nov?

yes I do .I am actually surprised he is not there already!   
ETA: really I don't know I am thinking that by at least mid November he will be there or right after black friday

It USE to be the day after Thanksgiving but last year at Smithhaven he was there a few weeks before Thanksgiving. He was VERY lonely those weeks before Thanksgiving. haha

We have gone to visit Santa the second weekend in November every year for the past 5 years. He might be there the first weekend in November, but I usually call the mall and ask when he will be arriving.
We go to Walt Whitman mall. Last year he was set up outside Lord & Taylor and then moved to the center of the mall later in the season.

Yeah, I think since DS was born we've gone early in November. As a general rule I HATE starting anything Christmas related too early - but for this, I won't stand in a huge line with an antsy kid waiting to spend more money then I should on pictures. So, we go early, and we are in and out.

I am 95% sure he comes to Roosevelt Field on November 1st...
We always go early to avoid lines and I remember talking to "Mrs. Claus" who said they start making the drive up from Florida the week before Halloween to be here in time...
And I have to say getting the pictures done mid November is great...No waiting!

Yeah Dh hates crowds so he wants them done early plus I use the pic on our Christmas card. Last year we were the only ones there and I think it was the 2nd weekend in Nov.

Well he is already down here.. we always have Christmas in July.. Don't ask me why but if you want you can get your photo with Santa... in JULY!
