donating old books
Does anyone know where to donate all books? Local libraries & schools don't want them & we need to get rid of them soon. It would be such a shame to throw them all out.

Do you have a used bookstore around? Or you can try the Salvation Army or a thirft store.

Maybe go directly through teachers- use craigslist or freecycle.com...Teachers who need to build their library would love them..
have you tried inner city schools- I worked in Bridgeport, CT and people were always giving us books and we loved it...
