in all seriousness, you know what i say to the low man who gets laid off because of piracy?
I say, it sucks you got fired, but all jobs have occupationial hazards. You entered into the profession knowing the pitfalls and knowing that piracy existed.
Piracy is illegal, but let's face it, everyone is looking for a free lunch. If you can get something without paying for it, 9 out of 10 people would go for it. Human nature. Guys like me are not the enemy - you have to go after the enablers. If the content is not available to me, I can't get it.

sure - i have always been in favor of making cars that go no faster than 70 mph
especially for new drivers - kinda like training wheels for newbies

if you want to nit pick
my theory isn't all encompassing
guns (with the proper documentation), knives and ropes aren't illegal
i'm saying that piracy is illegal, but until they stop the guys putting it on the web or selling movies on the street, people will still do it. If people can get stuff for free, they'll do it. It's human nature.
