Doilies!!!!
My Mom used them, but I don't. Does anyone here use doilies/bureau runners? My Cousin would use a solution of something, perhaps starch, to make doilies "stand up". Mary

I am a doilie lover! I have them all over the place. They are all handmade by my aunts in Italy!

They sound pretty, Tilde!!!! I have antique doilies, from my Mom. Used them when I was first married, then got out of the habit. Have you pictures of the doilies, Tilde? Mary
