Dog House Dormers
Does anyone have an approximate price of what it costs to add 2 to a cape house? I tried searching old posts but couldn't find any.
Also in terms of space, does it add any to the second floor? Or does it just add light?

I asked this question too a while ago and a few people responded saying that it cost around $100,000-$150,000 to fully dormer a cape.
When we were house searching the 2nd flr of a fully dormered house had tons of space compared to a cape. The ceilings are no longer slanted.

Thanks. I'm not looking for a full dormer. We are actually dormered in the back. Just wanted to think about adding 2 dog houses to the front for a bit of style.

i love dog house's make the capes look so darn pretty. I have no clue on costs my parents had theirs built with the cape.
