Does your toddler hit themselves?

DD hits herself when she doesn't get her way (she also hits mommy). DH is concerned that this is learned behavoir and that Daycare is trying to teach her that hitting is bad by having her hit herself. I talked to Daycare about hitting others but not herself. The teacher actually told me she doesn't do it often, but brought up another aggressive behavoir she does... I actually trust her lead teachers (despite my other post) - so I don't think they would do this. But thought it would be worth asking here to double check...

DD does this as well when she does not get her way and her babysitter only has one other child thats 2 so I don't think its daycare/babysittign behavior i attribute it to a phase that she will outgrow SOON
