Does your doctor....
test your urine for glucose on every visit? Mine does and so far every time it's good. I need to ask why they do this and if it will indicate how I do on the 1 hour test down the road.
Just curious.

I pee in a cup each time too, which is frustrating b/c sometimes I just went at home and can't go at the office. But at my last visit the Dr said there was bacteria in my urine and it was strep (which he said can be common in pg women) Was on antibiotic for a week.

Everytime! (but I think they check for Protein and/or sugar or something like that. Can they check for glucose or is that the same as "sugar"?)

Yup. Everytime you give a urine sample they do a dipstick test and they test for sugar in the urine, protein and bacteria. If you have sugar in your urine early on they will have you do your glucose test earlier. But either way you always have to do it.

Its to check protein in your urine. I think it has to do with pre eclampsia.
