Does this make me a bad person?
My SIL came over last night and told us she is pregnant with her second child.
The way she told us was really cute, my niece lifted up her shirt a little and pointed and said "mommy baby" i couldn't tell if she was joking so i looked at her and said are you pregnant and she said yes.
I'm very happy for her, don't get me wrong. But i couldn't wait for her to leave because I couldn't stand to be happy next to her. She didn't even try, she just got pregnant, same with her first daughter.
DH knew i was down but there really wasn't anything he could do to make me feel better.
I don't want to take away from her joy but its going to be hard pretending i'm so happy when she is going to be a constant reminder of something i want so bad but can't seem to achieve.
this isn't even a rant...i guess i just had to get it out...

Of course your not bad...IF is really hard...Rant all you want  I know I feel really sad when I hear someone got preggo very easily but in my case I am sad that we cant have that

Of course you're not a bad person, I feel the EXACT same way EVERY time I hear someone I know (or don't even know!!) is pregnant. It's not like you aren't happy for the person, you're just really sad for yourself. It's all a normal reaction given the circumstances. Don't feel bad about it, you're not a bad person and you're happy for your SIL, you're just sad at the time and that's totally okay.

ita...i am sad for me not for theme to terms and know life goes on around me..people want babies and they have them and that is great no matter how they got there
it suucks when it takes longer and u r entitled to feel ******..it suucks lol no other way around it
i just wrote this is the other thread..if it did not mean that much we all would have given up already

You're not a bad person..you're human. It's hard to see someone else so happy with soemthing you want so bad and have to work so hard for.

Maybe, this is really bad too, but when I start thinking like that, I counter the thought by reminding myself of the pregnant person's other problems that I don't have, like family issues or a bad marriage. I know, I'm a bad person too.

I just want to say I (and we) have been there and you're totally not a bad person. You kept your cool, showed your happiness and vented in an appropriate way. I say that's a job well done!!
