Does this look okay??
Just put up these new curtains and shades. I am a newbie at this I think put the curtain rod too high?? It comes down to the top of my molding. If I have to move it will be a hassle b/c I used those anchor things which I never used before but there will be a hole in my wall... Image Attachment(s):

I think it looks good too but I'm no expert. DH and I laugh that deciding where to hang curtains is the thing that makes us argue the worst!

I actually saw a nate berkus show where he said that you should do that to increase the perceived height of the windows. I like it.

I think it looks just right. If you look, you've actually got the rod centered horizontally very well between the top of the window molding and the ceiling. And having the curtains hit the top of the base board molding is fine.
I agree.. having the curtains hung higher over the window definitely helps give it height
don't change anything!
eta: i'm certainly no expert either, but i think that when it comes to your own home style, you go with what looks good to you

I think it looks great! The intructions on my curtain rods said to hang them 5 inches above the top of the window--this looks just about that!
