Does leaking mean the diaper is too small?
DD will be one month old on Wednesday and is still fitting comfortably in newborn diapers. The problem is that they have leaved up her back quite a few times. She is an avid pee-er so I change her often. I just changed her a half hour ago and she already peed up her back. Should I move up to size one?

No, you just may need to change brands.
As my kids grew, I had to switch from brand to brand because some just have a different fit.
We usually had a lot of luck with Pampers, but not as newborns.

We never used the newborn size diapers. DS leaked out of them right away. I would move her up to size 1 and see if that works.

I already switched from Pampers to Huggies...

Re: Does leaking mean the diaper is too small?
i would try size 1...size 1 says 8-14lbs....at 1 month I'm guessing your dc is at least 8lbs now??? I'm just guessing, I have no idea...I think we switched our dd to size 1 around that age (1 month)
DD is around 12 lbs now and we're thinking of going to size 2 soon....
She pooped ALL over me yesterday! That was 3 days of not pooping, and she got more on me than in her diaper...ahhhhH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Does leaking mean the diaper is too small?
DD is one month and had been in size 1 for about a week now. We used a newborn diaper over the weekend that I had in my diaper bag and she leaked right out of it after being in it for 2-ish hours! I'd try size 1.

Re: Does leaking mean the diaper is too small?
we had so many issues with pampers and huggies with ds just because of how they fit... for him the best diaper is luvs.... but i also never used newborn diapers and he jumped between sizes very fast... i believe by 4 weeks he was already wearing size 2s... at 12 months he is in size 6
