Does he still look like a "Cole"?? (new pic!)
got a new pic of the son we're adopting yesterday!! he looks SO much more "grown up"  BUT he's wearing the same shirt as he was in the last picture (that we sent him- size 18 months) so i'm glad he's not growing TOO TOO fast!  Hoping for August travel!

Thanks!! I've heard people say " I could never adopt or love a child who wasn't mine"... But you just do! It's the same as an ultrasound picture when youre pregnant. You look at the pic and love the baby already- even though you haven't met him/her yet. We already love him to death and can't wait to see what kind of chaos he causes around here

I cant stand comments like that.. or I always get "when are you going to have your own, you will see its totally different" I tell them granted i dont understand what its like to give birth but you dont know what its like to grow and fall in love with a child from first glance. To me, adoption is truly the defintion of "love at first sight"
I love my son with all my heart, cant imagine my life without him and know I am his mommy. And this is a boy who was with his mom for 4 months and a foster mom for a year and half before me. He is going to be 4 and I am his "mommy". He is true defintion of a momma boy.
I also fell in love with a pic first but Wait to you meet him, magnify your love by a million.
Good luck and congrats with everything.
