i was SOOOO bloated yesterday, then today it's much better

Yes it does....for the first 12-16wks there were days I could still wear my old jeans, some days a hair tie would work, and some days when I needed maternity jeans for comfort. I found later in the day and at night I was more bloated and after I ate.
