Does anyone watch "It Takes a Thief"?
On TLC? I love the show and the guys who are the "robbers" are HOT!!!
Lately, they've been doing shows on Long Island! Does anyone know where the houses they've been breaking into are? I don't recognize the neightborhoods.
I wish they would knock on my door

And I think DH was jealous of my crush on the robbers.

What is involved to participate? DO they just knock on your door or do they contact you ahead of time? Because the people never look surprised and their houses are always really clean

What is involved to participate? DO they just knock on your door or do they contact you ahead of time? Because the people never look surprised and their houses are always really clean
You have to take 4 days off of work minimum.
Day 1 - They set up a time to come over and "case" the house, pointing out the things that they will do and planning out the weak points.
Day 2 - They will set-up the time to "break in" and alert the neighbors, etc. so no one calls the cops on them.
Day 3 - You need to go over the damages and they install the fixes.
Day 4 - A week or so later they try to break in again.
It was a brand new show when we were selected and we decided it was too much trouble. I kind of wish we had done it, but DH wasn't really into it in the end.

I told DH those are 2 robbers I wouldn't mind robbing my house as long as I was home!  They are HOT!!

One of the girls who used to post a lot on here and LIW was on it a few years ago. She got a brand new security system.
