Does anyone teach 8th grade Social Studies?
I've been teaching 7th grade SS for the past 7 years and now I've been switched to 8th grade. I know nothing about the curriculum as I am a Sped teacher. Are there any good websites or do you have a curriculum guide that you can recommend?

I will be teaching 8th grade Social Studies in Sept and I student taught in 8th grade. Here is a link to the state curriculum:

I don't teach S.S., but I know teachers who use lots of streaming video in 7-8th grade. History channel has some audio/video and there are other sites with lots of streaming videos.
