Does anyone take prenatal vitamins?
Just wondering if anyone has started to take prenatal vitamins while you're TTC....
I know it will probably be a long road ahead for me with my PCOS, so I was wondering if I could start prenatals now even if it means I might be on them for a bit before getting PG?

Do you get a prescription from your doctor or do you buy OTC? If you buy OTC, where do you get them?

Yes - you actually should be on them - or a regular vitamin plus folic acid

ther are OT ones, but I take Calnate which is prescribed by my RE

I've been on an OTC one since I started TTC. Ask your doctor, mine doesnt care if its OTC or Rx as long as the OTC one has certain levels of different vitamins.

I've been on it since before I began TTC which was around Jan. 2007
I wanted to start trying right after my wedding so I went to my Dr. a few months before and I got the whole TTC visit and she prescribed the vitamins. I stink though I never remember to take them, I've beena little better lately.....
