Does anyone sell pine nuts already toasted?

I just burned a batch and am hoping that maybe in the future I can just buy them already toasted.

I think the key to toasting pine nuts is to turn the pan off. So get the pan hot enough to start toasting them, and then turn it off. The heat in the pan should toast them, and by the time they reach burning point, the pan will be a bit cooler.

Jamie Oliver always talks about how he always burns pine nuts!

low heat and keep them moving and don't walk away.... sort of like jiffy pop Chat Icon

no, no one should sell already toasted pinenuts, becuase the freshly toasted flavor fades very quickly... then they taste stale Chat Icon
