Does anyone make rolled sugar cookies?
What is the best way to do this? Do you roll them out on parchment beforehand, and then transfer to the cookie sheet? How do you keep the cookies from getting ruined in this process? Is there an easier way to do it? eta: sorry, meant using a cookie cutter

Re: Does anyone make rolled sugar cookies?
I have one of these Tupperware pastry sheets (technically for rolling pie crust and the like) which I use for rolling out cookie dough. It works GREAT! Just flour lightly and flour the rolling pin lightly, good to go! The best cookie cutters will enable you to pick up the shape in the cutter and pop it out onto the cookie sheet, if the dough isn’t too warm. That’s why we always divide the dough into multiple sections and keep rotating through the fridge so it doesn’t get too warm while you’re working with it. Colder is easier!

Yup, just use a spatula, floured if necessary. If the cookies are thick enough then you shouldn't have transferring problems.
