Does anyone know what this means?
The doctor said my cervix is still high but its thin and the baby's head is really low.
What does it mean when the cervix is still high?

I haven't heard of a cervix measurement in terms of height.
The rest of it sounds like labor should be soon.

From what i understand, the baby's head being low and down, meaning position is ready for birth.
A high thin cervix means you are effacing (thinning) but your cervix is still high in your vagina.
The cervix moves up and down before pg during your cycle. When you get pg, it stays high. When you go into labor it drops lower, and opens up (dilates)
For me, i was high even when i was 10cm's and they wanted me to push. I wish i was more informed at that time, i would have told the nurse to go scratch and come back when I am low. I wound up pushing for a longgg 2.5 hours!!!!
