does anyone know of a good comedy club
on long island? my brother wants to take his GF to a show. he may even go to the city..just looking for suggestions..thank you!

In NYC we like Gotham Comedy Club and New York CC (I think that is the name....)

i'm a big fan of the upright citizens brigade theater in chelsea. it's not a fancy comedy club, it's a basement theater troupe started in part by amy poehler but it's really fun, a small venue, and they get a lot of big name surprise guests
highly recommend Asscats (sunday night - improv comedy show)
