i know the area, it's very nice. Lots of younger families, beautiful complexes, nice restaurants and shopping. that said (and obviously this is JMO), there's nothing that really stands out about it to me. There's a big major road and it looks like you could really be anywhere - like an upscale old country road with palm trees. it has a very nice atmosphere but it is surrounded by towns that are mostly senior communities. not saying that's a bad thing, but wanted to flag it.

It would be more expensive I'm sure, but can I suggest you take a peek at Brickell? It's in the Miami area which is about an hour away from Coral Springs. There are lots of condos there, many which face the water...watch the boats go by. It has a cute little town. Also a younger crowd - 30 somethings, etc.
