does anyone know about oil burner maintenance?

DH was looking at our oil burner last night and he noticed a tag on a part saying to flush out water once a month. We've been here for almost 5 years and have never done this! We do have someone come from our oil delivery company for yearly maintenance, but we didn't know we were supposed to do anything. Does anyone, or their DH, flush the water out monthly?

And another stupid question, are you supposed to put fresh water back in somewhere?

We feel so dumb, but neither of us have any idea what we're supposed to do!

In the 3+ years we have been in our house we have never done anything like that to our oil burner!
If you have an oil contract give them a call and ask about it!
