Does anyone know...
how to get rid of tear stains? My poor cavalier, Scarlet, has it really bad and no matter what I do, nothing helps. Any suggestions?

Lucky has really bad tear stains. It's horrible. I use minral oil to soften up the hair and clean it with a warm wash cloth. it helps a little. Sometimes i shave it if he lets me. Someone told me that angel eyes really works but i been too scared to try it. It's a powder you put in thier water or food. i am at the point where i might try it

I found the answer to this but its on the maltese website its called STAY WHITE TEAR STAIN REMOVER.. I wish I knew how to link but I dont. its 19.99 and its the best thing ever invented. My dogs eyes are Gorgeous!! I sware!!! They were so bad but this did it. I would never give my dog antibiotics for this which is angel eyes (tylen powder) I was always afraid that if she ever gets sick I wont be able to help her if her body became imuned.... I am telling you get this.. Google it by name and hit I feel lucky and it comes right up... Please FM me if you cant find it... I have helped so many people with this and I am glad to pass this on.

my friend's vet said it was the dog's diet - and there is apparently a special food out there that will stop this from happening. maybe you can ask your vet to see if they have heard of this.
