Does anyone here
have a hobby? I feel like all I do is work and sleep. I want to get into something, but just dont know what.
Any suggestions besides going to the gym and knitting?
Does anyone take Yoga? I would love to take Yoga.

I literally just started yoga two days ago. I got a DVD and I feel better already. I feel like I have more energy afterwards and I'm not sure how much of a difference two days can really make, but DH insists my thighs look thinner already.

I recently began knitting. I like it, but I need more things that are social. I would LOVE to take a cooking class or a cake decorating class.

I had no idea they do them at Michael's! I have ALWAYS wanted to do this! I always said that if my music career didn't work out, I would be a cake baker. Where are you located Kristen? I would love to take one of those classes!

omg, a girl after my own heart. I am a great cook, and want to start my own catering business for small cocktail parties, etc.
I am in Amityville. Let me know if you are interested, I will find out the schedule.

I used to take yoga classes, and I also took massage classes which was fun! I knit for a while, but don't do that too often anymore. I read a lot for fun when I have time (one of my friends just started a book club for all her friends). I also go to school full time and work full time, so I don't have too much free time...But I used to volunteer at the animal shelter walking dogs and grooming the dogs and cats.

I also work 2 jobs, bowl on Wed. nights and by the time sat. afternoon comes Im ready to get my friends over here, relax, laugh, and have fun.
Sundays are food shopping and then Nothing..(usually visit some family).

Glass painting is something I wish could be my hobby. But I just stink big time and gave it up. Somehow when I attempt to paint a leaf on glass, it ends up looking like I painted an entire tree

I was taking Bikram Yoga...or Hot Yoga, as they call it. The room was about 100 degrees and you sweat like a friggin pig. Then I got sick and I stopped. I really enjoyed it though, it relaxed me.
