Does anyone have the FP Learn & Music Station?

I just bought this for my friend's 1 year old but when I got home, I realized it didn't get very good reviews.

Does anyone have this toy?
Does your child like it?

I don't want to go back to TRU to return this. DH thinks we should just give the gift with a gift receipt and be done with it.

We got it for DS for Christmas. He loves it. He'll bang on it for a little while and make "music". I'm not a huge fan of the tv hook-up, but that may be because DS is a little too young to follow along w/the tv.

ETA: DS is 8 months old

I originally bought it because I thought it was a toy that could played with for a long time. Right now he could play with it without the tv and then when he gets older, he could interact with the tv. I'm hoping it isn't as bad as the reviews say.
