I had the diaper genie, dont bother, I threw it out after a month. Buy the disposable diaper bags, they are scented and a lot easier to deal with.

same here. The disposable (blue) bags are great for the diaper bag also.

I have the daper champ, it takes regular bags. We liked it so much that we bought one for the downstairs also. I empty each one once a week, and it never smells, and we have twins. Before we got the one for dowstairs, we would put the diapers in the kitchen garbage and it was gross.

I have the genie and it is fine. We only use it for #2s and dd is 5 months old and we empty it once every two weeks and just spray it with lysol and have had no problems. I have heard good things about the champ too.

Never registered for one and never wanted one. I just bought these small plastic bags from the dollar store that are scented and meant for poopy diapers. I wrap the diaper in that and chuck it outside.
