Does anyone have endometriosis?
I didn't want to put his in health where no one reads. Please don't move.
I have been thinking about this recently and feel like I probably have it although no doctor has even really suggested it. Here is why.
I always have had painful periods, the second day is usually bad where I feel really sick, sweating, the runs, feel nauseous, many times i have called in sick from work, or even left work. But then again how do I know my period is more painful than someone else's?
After having my daughter my periods have been A LOT better, although recently slightly worse each month.
I feel ovulation pain every single month.
I have hashimotos, an autoimmune disease and when you have one it is likely you can/will develop a second autoimmune disease.
Took two years to get pregnant, but first ivf ever worked. Every test was perfect/textbook, sperm and eggs looked great and fertilized normally, doctors labeled me as unexplained.
My skin is really bad before my period with cystic acne that I have to get cortisone injections for.
Does this sound like I have it?

Xpost in the IF board. I know some of those girls have it and could be a good resource for you.

Does anyone have endometriosis?
I have stage 2 and it was diagnosed when I had exploratory surgery for cysts. My periods are very very painful and heavy. I can feel it coming with cramps the day before and the night before my back aches so bad I can't sleep. Day 1 is brutal and I need 800mg of Motrin every 6hrs and heating pads just to move. Day 2 is better but still very very hard. It has not effected my fertility but my cousin has stage 4 and had to have a hysterectomy because of the pain and bleeding. It was bad. Endo is hard to diagnose without surgery since you can't really see it as far as I know on u/s. Have they ruled our PCOS? That is very often linked to thyroid and is a big factor in fertility for many women.

Re: Does anyone have endometriosis?
I have it and my Dr found mine when she went in to remove a cyst on my ovaries. My periods are beyond heavy, I have cramps before and during my period and always feel myself ovulate. It took 3 yrs to conceive with IVF #3 after many failed IUIs and IVF's.
You wont know for sure if you have endo unless you have surgery.

I have it. They found it when removing a cyst that was causing bleeding. I have heavy periods, but no cramps. I did when I was younger though.

Re: Does anyone have endometriosis?
I feel like I might. And the only reason is I googled a symptom I was experiencing and it all pointed to endo. This may be TMI but on the second day of my period every month, I have painful bowel movements. It almost feels like a severe gas pain is ripping through my intestines as I go to the bathroom. It always happens on day 2 of my period and it is gone by the time my period ends. Never happens any other time. It is very painful. Apparently this is a classic symptom of endo. I never knew that. I had no issues getting pregnant and no other symptoms so I am not sure and I hear it's hard to diagnose anyway.

Does anyone have endometriosis?
I have it. I had all of the classic symptoms for over 10 years and finally my new OBGYN found a 5.5cm endometrioma (a blood filled cyst) on my ovary. During my lap procedure, it was officially confirmed. I had all the classic symptoms: pain during periods, heavy long periods (usually lasting 8-9 days!), problems with bowel movements during periods, frequent spotting, back pain, chronic fatigue.
If you have any questions, feel free to FM me. It makes me so mad that I suffered for so long and was completely ignored by my drs. I told my gyno that a few times I had even fallen asleep on the bathroom floor because the pain would cause me to vomit and sweat and shake uncontrollably, even after taking 6 motrin. She replied "sounds normal to me" and sent me on my way. After talking to friends and family I realized it was not in fact normal at all. I am so glad I finally found a dr who actually listened to my symptoms. No one should ever have to suffer like that.

Yes this happens to me too. It usually coincides with when my cramps are the worst.
And to the pp I have almost fallen asleep on the toilet too in the middle of the night with cramps because for some reason sitting in that position alleviates the pain slightly.
I didn't have a c-section, but I remember thinking if I do I'll ask then to check. It sucks I would have to have surgery to figure it out for sure.
