Does anyone have any experience with Placenta Previa...
I just got told I have partial Placenta Previa at 20 weeks. I'm on Pelvic rest and haven't had any bleeding.
Just wondering what everyone's experience with it was. I'm hoping it of course moves, but want to know what I'm in for if it doesn't happen. I actually just switched OB offices because I wanted to deliver at Stony Brook especially if C-section is possible.

I had it recently..my DD is now 17 months. I was put on pelvic rest and had to see a high risk doctor. I also switched from St.Charles to StonyBrook for that reason. FM if you have any specific questions.

I had it with my first DD. I bled 2x, but was never put on any kind of rest. It moved around 32 weeks.
It never moved for one of my friends and she had a scheduled c section at 36 weeks.

I found out I had it at 13 weeks. I won't find out until my 20 week app't if it moved, but dr said no lifting and modified bed rest until my 20 wk app't.

Re: Does anyone have any experience with Placenta Previa...
I had a complete previa and had bleeding from about the end of the first tri through the middle of the second tri. I was on and off bed rest which made it so difficult with my 3yr old.
Eventually it moved on its own. I don't remember the exact week but I do remember the Dr saying that there is usually a good chance that it moves on its own.

I had partial placenta previa in the beginning of my pregnancy I was on pelvic rest most of my pregnancy, but it went away at 24 weeks. I did have bleeding with it for about 3 weeks.
