Does anyone have a newborn/infant and toddler in the same room?
Rylan and DC #2 will be sharing a room eventually. At first the baby will be in a bassinett in our room but i'm not sure when to make the switch. Rylan just starting sleeping in the crib...in his own room and STTN at a year old. It has been going great and i'm so scared to ruin it. I have a long time to go but constantly thinking about it already...lol.

Yes, Billy and Genevieve shared a room and still do. We moved Billy into the crib at around 6 weeks. Genevieve was only 1 1/2 and we transitioned her to a toddler bed (only had room for one crib). If she woke up, it did not wake up Billy and vice versa.

I'm so worried about the baby waking Rylan up...I should say paranoid...lol. I'm glad it worked out for you...it gives me hope!!!

We're going to be doing it in September I think. DS is basically sleeping through the night now. We just switched him from the bassinett in our room to a crib in our room. I want to wait until 5 or 6 months old & then he's moving in with Kayleigh.

DS is 4 months old and still sleeps in our room at night...i am scared my 2 year old will wake him up or vice versa

Our "plan" (have to LOL at that one)...is when and IF the new baby gets on somewhat of a decent sleep schedule, we'll be moving the crib into DD's room. She's a great sleeper, so I don't think having the baby in the room would phase her.
But we'll see!!  I'm not holding my breath.
DD was in our room til 4 months...so the new baby will be in there with us for at LEAST that long as well.
One can only hope in a perfect world they'll survive in the same room at some point!!
