Does Anyone feel this????
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and for the past month or so I've been very sore between my legs. My vaginal area hurts so bad, that sometime it hurts for me to walk. I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs and when I change position its so painful. I've asked my doctor about it but he says its normal. Its doesn't feel like anything I've felt before. Its different from cramping. I'm just very sore all day long.It even hurts for me to put any bottoms on.I've tried warm baths, walking extra, cutting back on walking, even just resting for a whole day.Nothing works. I've never rode a horse but after feeling this way I can only imagine what a first time rider must feel like the day after. Is there anyone that feels this way and if you have did a doctor give you more info on what it can be. Also is it as normal as my doctor said it was or was he just trying to make me feel better?

Re: Does Anyone feel this????
I'm 33 weeks and I think I know what your talking about. The way it feels to me is as if someone kicked me in the crotch.
I'm not sure if it's the same thing but if it is, I was told that it's pubic bone separation. My dr. told me that it's normal and that I could go to PT if it was really a problem but I only have about 7 more weeks to go until so I don't see the point.

Re: Does Anyone feel this????
I'm 37 weeks & I feel this too. It's like a really bad muscle ache & when I change positions in bed, it's like my groin/inner thigh are on fire.
I think getting up & moving helps a little because when I sit or lay down too long, it hurts a lot when I do get up.

Re: Does Anyone feel this????
same here...I get it too! My Dr. said its my bone seperating...LOVELY!!
But it does feel like someone kicked me in the crotch, its right in the middle, and if I press it with my fingers it is super sore! Some days are worse than others. And I agree w/the pp, if I sit too long and then get up its more sore than if I'm active.

Re: Does Anyone feel this????
It could be SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction) which is the separating of the pubic bone, and your hormones wear away the cartilage . I have it, but it's been brought on faster since i already have a separated pubic bone.
My doctor tried to shrug it off as ligament pains, but I knew they weren't. It is SOOOO painful for me when I turn over in bed, or get up after laying down for awhile. Mostly on my left side.
Not much you can do about it (as in medical treatment). After doing research I found that a chiropractor or osteopath can do things to help it, but thats about it. And you can get a support belt if your belly is putting pressure on the pubic bone too. From the link below, they say OB's usually don't know much about it and don't really diagnose it.
Here's a link on it if you want more info.
