Does anyone every worry
about not being good a parent? This weekend DH and I got into a huge fight and for some reason since then, I have been worried that I wont be a good parent. I feel so blessed to be having a baby  but it has been on my mind for the past few days. I am so scared that I wont know what to do or if I am doing the right thing.

I think it's normal- I worry about it too.
I worry that I won't know what to do if it's sick or I won't put its diaper on right or I'll make it into a worry wart like me! 
I think you will be a great mommy!

Yes, I am so worried that I won't be a good mommy. DH on the other hand, I KNOW he will be a good dad.
I'm just nervous that I'll be like my mom .
Although I turned out OK so I guess she wan't that bad

All the time!!! I'm thinking its normal and we'll figure it out as we go - don't forget we always have all the wonderful ladies on the parenting board to help us out if we get stuck.

I have the same fear being that I was never a real "kid" person to being with. I know things will be different when I have my own, but I think we all face the same fears.
I give 100% credit to my parents for how I turned out, as well as 3 siblings. I want to do most things that my parents did because I really think I am on the right track in my life. Kudos Mom and Dad!

I'm terrified! I hear moms talk about feeding and sleep schedules...and I think, how the heck do they figure all this out?!
I have absolutely no experience with babies, nor do I have family that lives close by to help me out...so we'll be on our own.
I'm just hoping it's like everyone says and you figure it out as you go along.
Not to mention the WEALTH of information I get from this website.

I think what helped me was knowing that I would make mistakes..I am not perfect. I do the best I can and try my best to make good solid decisions. I also realized that if I put a diaper on too lose one day or a shirt on backwards that Molly would still be okay. Those are the little things that won't hurt her or cause her pain. I also really let Molly guide me a lot...I didn't force her to eat at a certain time..I followed her a bit. I pick my battles. If we are hanging around the house and she doesn't want to wear pants, I don't care. But if we are going out, then she HAS to wear pants.
We all go thru times of doubts and what ifs...that will last forever I think.
