Does anyone ever.... SMALL UPDATE...
get nervous when they don't feel pregnant?
I felt baby girl move thursday night a few times and since then... absolutely NOTHING.
Aside from some odd vag pain... I don't feel pregnant at all. And I keep waiting for little girl's pokes to come back. but nada. It's starting to make me nervous.
I'm 21 weeks on tomorrow.
I'm too freaked out... and my next appt isn't for another almost 3 weeks. I just bought the angel sounds fetal heart monitor. I have a graco one, but that can't be used until the 3rd trimester. I think this will help me be more sane. Haha!! Ahh I hope it comes quick!!!!

Re: Does anyone ever....
Movement is SO inconsistent at first ... give it a couple more days! I felt that way for awhile too. All of my first trimester symptoms had long since subsided and I just felt normal. But once the baby starts moving more consistently it will help you feel better!

At 39 weeks, sometimes I don't feel pregnant. I think you just get used to being pregnant, it's really strange.

Re: Does anyone ever....
when i was at the doc the other day i told her that i hadnt really been feeling the baby move yet (i was 19 weeks) and she said "the books are crap. most first time mothers dont feel anything until 21 or 22 weeks."
i dont know if youre a first timer or not, but try not to worry. we all can identify with what youre feeling, and 99% of the time all of our worries are unfounded.

Re: Does anyone ever....
I did but now I feel pregnant all the time and still get nervous. . I do remember once specifically after I had been feeling LO move around fairly regularly and then NOTHING for about a day. . and I freaked out. . of course he moved again. . and I really didn't even start feeling him until about 22 weeks I think. .

Re: Does anyone ever....
I worried at that point too but I talked to my doctor about it and he said that I shouldnt be worried about inconsistent movement until like 28 weeks.

Thank you for your posts.
I think it's just surprising to me that something the size of a banana is inside me moving and I can't feel it!!! how is that possible??

I was just going to say this. At first when I felt the kicks I felt him one day then didn't feel him for days. Now the kicks are so much more consistent it makes you more relieved I promise.

I'm 17 weeks and I do not feel pregnant AT ALL. I look in the mirror and I see the same body. I don't feel consistent movements, etc.
I'm hoping when I show & feel the LO I will feel better.

Re: Does anyone ever....
I am 23 weeks. I went to delivery the other night because I wasnt feeling any movement for a few days. They monitored me and you could hear all of the movement....but I didnt feel any of it! Im sure your little girl is fine. BUT, I understand being nervous.

Re: Does anyone ever....
yes I am always nervous. with my 1st DD, I didnt feel consistent movement even at the end and the dr just said every time, well she is a quiet baby! I had an anterior placenta too which made feeling movement difficult. I did feel big kicks but the smaller movements not at all. I dont feel anything yet with this one (18w) and keep trying to remind myself that this was how it was last time and not to freak out. still freaking out though of course!

Re: Does anyone ever....
Heck yeah. At 10 weeks, my nausea and general queasiness went away suddenly, and rather than be happy, I freaked out. Big time. I went online and rented a hospital-grade fetal doppler and paid for the overnight shipping ($25!) so I could check it the very next day. All was well.
But yeah, I totally sympathize.

Re: Does anyone ever.... SMALL UPDATE...
I wish I could feel nervous for that reason. I'd love to not feel pregnant!
This baby constantly kicks me and I've been feeling nauseous from week 6. This kid reminds me constantly that he is in there.
At around 21 weeks, I don't think the kicking was constant. Not exactly sure when it became constant but it is now at 35 weeks.

I woke up feeling exactly the same this morning and posted something similar to this. I feel nervous because I am just heading into week 19 and dont feel like I look preggo either. I feel flutters, but not consistently. I really wanted to look more preggo by this time, but at least I feel like I am not the only one that feels this way.
