Does anyone elses's baby "nap" at 8pm?
DD is 4 months and goes to bed around 10. She naps at 8 pm. I've tried to phase this nap out but I've noticed that she doesn't sleep as well at night. I don't know if this is due to the nap or not. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

mine does too. she's 4.5 months now, and this seems to be settling into her evening routine. dinner at 7, bath, then nap between 8 and 8:30 or 9. then awake for a while, nurse, or bottle between 9 and 10. and asleep around 10:30. i'm not arguing if she sleeps decently at night, and on a good night i get 8 hours to start with. (bad is 5 or 6) this is a huge improvment over 2 months ago when she would be up until at least 12:30am, and sometimes as late as 2 or 2:30am.

Well my DD is 8 months but she naps every night at 6pm & sleeps until 7pm & then around 7:45 I start getting her ready for bedtime. One/2 nights we were out & she missed that 6pm nap & I put her down at her usual bedtime or a little earlier but then it seems she didn't sleep as good or she woke up earlier in the am.

My DD used to "nap" at around 7-ish at night and then bedtime at 10-ish....she stopped this on her own about 6 mths.

AJ naps around 6:30 then he gets up around 7:15. I get him ready for bed and he is asleep for the night by 8:30. Sometimes I dont mind the 6:30 nap b/c it give us a chance to eat dinner.

I always thought the 8pm nap was a "nap" but now discovered if I BF her and put her down it can be her bedtime.. She wakes up at 10pm and I just stick her binky back in her mouth and i dont pick her up.. Now her bedtime is at 9. I have her play at 8 so she gets tired. BUT this has only been for the past week I hope it keeps up...

NO Ds usualy goes to bed around 8:30 9 so i will not let him nap after 7
