Does anyone else remember their dreams from when they were children?

I don't remember all of them of course.. but there are a few that I still remember from when I was about 5 years old! Isn't this strange?

not strange....when i was little, i had a recurring dream from when i was 5 or so until I was 15. scary!!

See that's the thing they were not recurring dreams! There are three dreams I can remember two were awesome and one was a nightmare. I don't understand how I can remember them after all these years! The dream world is quite fascinating that way I guess..

When I was 4 or 5 I still remember that day. When I heard something outside my window calling my name. Scared the crap out of me

Yep. I used to have dreams that I would drown in quicksand. Now, this may sound crazy, I also used to dream that we had a cat and mouse in the house that talked. I was like 4...

And lately I will start remembering old ones out of the blue for no reason at the weirdest times.

yes, I had a recurring dream that I died in a fire in a big white Victorian house...it was very scary.

I always have the same dreams from when I was a kid when I'm sick or have a fever, its so weird.....

I had three dreams that always found their way into my head from being a young child. They didn't end until I moved in with my husband while we were engaged.
Two of them were very scary (one of them involved alligators eating my feet off my bed and the other one had trees beating me up lol). These two happened all the time.
The third one was much less frequent and involved flying which was only scary sometimes.

I remember a few -

1- went to the school's monsignor's wake and that night i had a dream that he was calling me to go with him - i said no, too young (maybe 6 or 7)

2- dreams that my mom, dad, & 1 brother would be on a bridge and somehow we'd fly off, or it would break and we would sink. my mom n me didn't know how to swim...never figured out the ending

3 - woody woodpecker was chasing me with his evil laugh trying to peck at me

that's about it

yes definitely i always had a very hard time sleeping when i was a kid ....i had HORRIBLE NIGHTMARES..and so i can remember a few

One dream stands out because it was in vivid color:

My gloworm (remember gloworm?) had babies and they were crawling all over my bed. Big, fat, worms in green, blue, and purple. I just remember as I was picking up the phone to call the exterminator, I woke up.

Every Christmas Eve for years, I had a dream about Santa - he was really mean to me...and then suddenly my sister, brothers and I were all in an abandoned train station and my youngest brother would die. Every year.
I also used to have other dreams about that same brother getting beat up while we wer all standing around watching, but it would be a different circumstance each time....

Not sure why it was always the same brother....

I remember one in particular- I guess I was maybe for or 5... it was a nightmare about these big dog things that were on Sesame street

Wait I remember more... there was one where Santa was actually Bugs Bunny.

Yeah I definitely do. I still have some of the same dreams!

I remember one. It was a recurring dream, and it was scary, and had to do with me falling out of my parents car on a dark street and they kept driving. But then the Sesame Street characters came out and rescued me.
It was right around my parents divorce, i was about 5.
