does anyone else feel SMALL???

im 35w1d today and I feel tiny!

am I the only one? people ask how many weeks I am and when I tell them theyre like "REALLY??"

I read about IUGR and it freaks me out. I did have a growth sono at 33w and the tech said she was approx 4lb15oz which was avg. However, Im an ultrasound tech and I don't trust this girl. She was filling in for the usual tech at my OB and Ive gotten better pics of my and im not even an OB tech, im a vascular tech!

It depends on the frame of your body. I am short so my belly pops really big - I have noticed that people who are taller bellies don't get as big.

There is nothing to worry about though - you look great. Enjoy the last couple of weeks!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and the third time I am carrying small. They did a growth sono on me at 33 weeks as well and said baby would be b/w 6 and 7 lbs. However, they said this the previous 2x as well and my dd was 7lb 12oz and ds, at 2 weeks early was 7lb even. I think its b/c I have a long torso (I'm only 5'4) and put on the lower end of wahts recommended. I'm sure your baby will be fine!

You look great! Think about how much easier it will be to get back into shape. The baby is healthy and everything is going well, so relax and be happy

I don't feel small but I do get a little nervous about weight gain bc I thought by now I would have gained more and last time I went to the doc I didn't gain. Either way, my belly is obviously growing so when I look at that it reassures me. Also, if your doc is not concerned then don't worry. You look great by the way

I'm 39 weeks and measuring small, too. I've been for 2 growth sonos and am going for another on Monday (unless, please God, makes an appearance before then). My OB was worried about IUGR as well, but they're estimating that she'll be between 6 & 7 lbs now. The baby also dropped fairly early, so this contributes to my looking smaller.

I think you look fantastic! Just remember (and I know you probably hear this a lot), everyone carries differently; I've learned to ignore the comments. I know it's hard, but think about how much easier it will be to get back to pre-pregnancy weight/size once your little one gets here!

when i was preg. with DD i carried pretty small the whole time. a week or 2 before my due date i was out shopping and had ppl ask when i was due and told them anytime and no one believed me.
DD was 5 days late and was 7lbs 2oz nice and healthy!
everyone carries differently so i wouldnt worry too much!

A girl I worked with had the cutest tiniest little mini-basketball belly and low and behold out came a 9lb baby girl. And I've known girls with enormous bellies who have tiny little babies. If the DR isn't concerned you shouldn't be either. Enjoy it....less to lose later on.

I just wanted to say I completely understand. I am 32 weeks pregnant and depending upon what I am wearing you might not even know that I am pregnant, let alone 32 week.

We were at a birthday party on Saturday and ran into somoen I had not seen since I had become pg. She knew that I am pg, but asked me if I had a m.c. b/c to her I did not look pg. I almost broke down in tears. I had to walk away from this person b/c I was so upset by the comments.

i didn't really get big until 36wks or so.

My measured 2 weeks ahead at his growth sonos, but my fundal height was always on the small side. I only gained 4 lbs with the pregnancy and had an 8lb baby (2 weeks early.)

I had 1 coworker who constantly told me i was huge - even asked if i was having twins (despite knowing that I WAS pregnant with twins and lost 1 in the first tri).... but everyone else was surprised to learn that my due date was so close. I'm only 5'2"-5'3" too, but i was chubsy to start out.

I am 27 weeks and if you look at me from the front, or if I am sitting behind a desk, you can't tell I'm pregnant. And only in the past few weeks has it become obvious from the side.

At the beginning it stung that people said "you don't look pregnant". I worked hard to get to this point, darn it, I want to look pregnant.

Now I get "you look great for being that pregnant".

People will say what they say. All that matters is that you are creating a miracle

My belly really didn't get that big with DD (though it felt like it grew a lot between 36/37 and 40 weeks...and I didn't gain any weight after 32 weeks). I have a pic of me at 33 weeks and my belly really isn't that big. DD was 7lbs 7oz, and perfectly healthy.

i dont think you look small, i did before this week but I think you have popped a little bit more (maybe its just the pics?)

you look great, you are seriously ALL baby, I think your body actually looks smaller than pre-preg so maybe thats it? Anywho, you look amazing and I cannot wait to meet this little piggy. As I said in your album, I am #3 to hold her!!! You better remember that

I carried pretty small this entire pregnancy until about 2 weeks ago when I exploded. It didn't bother me all that much, as I knew throughout the whole thing that was healthy!

im just neurotic these days, at least accoring to my "dear" husband!

i KNOW shes getting bigger because I have constant pain in my upper belly from the muscles stretching. my DH even told me last night that I got a lot bigger this week, so it makes me feel better.

im carrying huge so dont worry that you are small. i rather hear small than large everyone is like are u carrying twins. all my weight went to my belly. we all carry different we just all want the same thing a healthy happy baby bset of luck

At the beginning, I got big very fast, but haven't really gotten that much bigger from 20-26 weeks. I'm also 5'8"
