Does anyone do crunches everyday?
So I go to Zumba three days a week and don't have much time for anything else.
Yesterday I vowed that I would do crunches every day.
If you do them, how long/how many do you do?
I did them yesterday at home and then went to Zumba and the instructor ended the class with 750 crunches. It actually felt really good, as my stomach is killing me now, so I'm hoping it will work to bring it back to somewhat normal.

Re: Does anyone do crunches everyday?
I think doing them everyday is great. My SIL has a FLAT tummy and she does them every night
remember though that there are different variations of crunches and I would change it up (side crunches, standard, leg lifters)---just so the body doesnt get used to one way
pilates is also great for tummy

Yea, I would def. do all different kinds, I get bored easily
I never tried pilates. It seems very chill to me though (I know nothing about it though so I could be wrong) and I'm more of a bump and grind type of girl Besides, after having two kids I'm convinced that I now had ADD. Even getting a pedi drives me crazy sitting for the big 20 minutes.

Crunches are good but also throw some core work into the mix. Things like the plank, one leg plank, side plank, bicycle crunches, reverse crunches, superman etc. They all work different parts of the abdominals and you can do a different exercise or set each night!

try the Perfect Abs DVD. I have it a I LOVE it. It works all parts of your abs, there are 3 beginner level work outs, 3 intermediate and 3 challenging, each one of each 3 are different just to change things up and all are 9 minutes or less.

I did regular planks also - what are side planks?

OOH, maybe I will give this a try. I have to ask my friend Kim, she has 1000 workout videos, I'm sure she has one for abs only.

ITA! this is a good way to work the abs and hit all the muscles without over-training
