Does anyone clean your infant's tongue?
I notice that formula gets built up on her tongue and was wondering if anyone cleans it...my grandmother said they used to, but not sure if ppl still do...If you do, what do you use???

I don't/can't, once he spits out his bottle he will not let anything back in his mouth. He clenches his mouth shut.

Ryan is BF. But, I never did. I want to say around 4 or 5 weeks it cleared away itself. Almost like he finally had saliva to get it down.

i would check with your ped to make sure it's not thrush. if it is, cleaning it off can be harmful.

thanks its def not thrush, i asked my dr, bc the last time we were there her tongue was white and I had read about thrush, he said it was my choice to clean her tongue or not, but I can't help but think it wouldn't hurt..I guess
