Does anybody else hate keeping the secret?
I have these mixed feelings because I don't want people to know too soon in case something happens but at the same time I wish everybody already knew I am pregnant. I just hate keeping the secret and I feel like I'm going to slip at any moment!

Yes- which is why I pretty much told everyone I knew right away. Even announced on FB at 7w after hearing the heartbeat.

Yes! This part was killing me. I told my boss at 5 weeks because she kept asking me to lift things...and I knew I shouldn't be doing that.
I talked to her about telling the rest of the office and she said, "God forbid something happens to your pregnancy, we will all know about it anyway". I know this is a lil harsh, but she is right. If something did happen, I am sure the word would get around.
So....I told them all last week. It was really exciting. I am happier now that they all know!
I am just waiting a bit before telling everyone on FB though. Maybe a few more weeks..if I can wait that long!

Only 4 people know we are expecting and i am 10 weeks now. we are not telling our families for another 2 weeks which will be after our NST.
It has been very easy as i have not been sick at all. And my family is all in another country. I have 1 sister here so i told her and our 3 BF's.
I actually like having our little secret but at the same time i cannot wait to tell my family as i know they are all going to b so excited. I plan on taking a video of my next scan and emailing it to them all while on skype so i can see there reactions if they can figure out what they are looking at!! (I am sure mom will)

I would LOVE to tell everyone, but so far IRL only my mom knows..due to a previous miscarriage i really don't want to tell anyone...maybe after i hear a heartbeat i'll re-consider..last time i never even made it that far.
But, yes, i so wish i could announce right now!!!

YES! I really hate keeping the secret. I couple of close friends know and our families know. My 12 week sono is in a week and I can't wait just so I can finally spill the beans. A couple of friends I haven't told have guessed to other friends that I'm PG. I guess I'm not keeping the secret as well as I had hoped

I cannot keep secrets we told everyone right away this time, same with DD, I'm dying to post on Facebook too but I have another soon 9/22 I'll just about be 9 weeks...

Just a couple of more days to go for us. As long as everything is ok we are coming out on Monday after our 12 week appt.! It's been easy at times but very difficult at other times

I kept it a secret until 17 weeks, I was getting weird looks from people however I wanted to make sure my amnio came back ok before I made the annoucement as my sisters baby had triscomy 18 and she lost the baby at 5 months it was devastating to everyone. Thankfully all was ok and most people had guessed any way. If your comfortable then it's the right time to make the annoucement. It is very exciting to let everyone know!

After my miscarriage I actually found it easier to keep it a secret from everyone (except my mom ) but mom kind of pressured me into telling my brother and sister at 7 weeks, which I am happy I did. I dont plan to tell anyone else for a few weeks. DH's side of the family wont know until Im at least 10 weeks this time around. I might have to tell my boss soon (which I really dont want too because I made that mistake already) but a co-worker is quitting leaving possibly more responsibility on me, so that kind of sux.

I dint keep it a secret. After trying for 2 years I just didnt care if people knew.....my life was an open book once we started fertility treatments since I had to see Dr and skip out of work for an hour here or there

DH and I do not agree on this. We heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks and he wants to wait until 12! No way I said so we compromised at 8...which is next Wed! I cannot wait!
