Doctor's lab does not take my insurance
I am not pregnant (have 3 year old) but I thought you guys could help. I have been going to my doctor for 4 years and he just changed to a lab that does not take my insurance. They know what my insurance is so I would assume they would have mentioned it to me.
My question is would you switch doctors or just pay future bills? I really don't care who I see so changing doctors would not really matter to me.

can you ask the doctors office to send your blood to the old lab that was covered? many doctors use more than lab.

You might also be able to get a prescription to go to a different lab to get it done and they will send the results to your doctor.

definetly ask if they can use another lab. otherwise ask for a script to go to a lab that takes your insurance.
