doc is 2 hrs behind! update at end of thread

I'm supposed to have my 38 week appt tonight but the office called to say the doc is 2 hrs behind!! Changed our 7 pm appt to 8pm hoping that things will get better, but we'll see. I'm going to call them in a little bit and see what the deal is. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Well at least they called you, that's a positive instead of making you sit there.

I had a 9am appointment on Tuesday and I was sitting there for over an hour for a 5 minute appointment. All they did was a UA, weight, feel the belly, hb, and check my blood pressure I was literally out 5 minutes after the doc finally came in.

But I heard them talking about someone being rushed in this morning so that probably caused my docs delay.

Hopefully you will not have to wait long.

That sucks, but like Jaime said at least they called you! Now you can wait while on LIF

ok, so we just got back from the doc. We only had to wait like a half hour in the waiting room and then about another half hour for the doc in the examination room. Good news though...I'm finally dilated...although it's only a 1/2 centimeter! They're doing another sono on Monday because she was measuring big at the 36 week sono. Hopefully I'll dilate some more this week so they won't have to do a C section since she seems so big !
