Do you use baby powder on your toddler?
DS is going to be 2 in November. We have never used baby powder on him, but sometimes when we change his diaper lately, his hiney is a little smelly....not "dirty" smelly, but more like musty or sweaty....we bathe him everyday, and he never sits in a dirty diaper, but for some reason he has an odor. I am not sure what it is, and DH thinks we should use baby powder to help...
I know that there is alot of deabte about baby powder and everything I read says it can cause asthma, etc. I am being crazy (liek DH thinks I am). He says that it's not like we're rubbing it on his face, and a little on his hiney won't hurt. What would you do?

I only use baby powder (with corn starch) on DS if he has a rash.
