Do you tip?

Kind of random, but when you take your laundry to the wash and fold, are you supposed to tip them on top of their fee? If so, how much?

Re: Do you tip?

I would only tip if they picked up and delivered it which I had going for a while.

Nope...thats like tipping your dry cleaning person...kind of weird IMO and not necessary.

Re: Do you tip?

I am surprised at how many people send their laundry out. I may need to start looking into this from time to time! I hate doing laundry!

How much is it?

Re: Do you tip?

well, I took about a weeks worth of laundry from my husband and I, they weigh it by the lb and it was 27 lbs. My total was $18.90.

All depends on how much they charge per pound.

The only thing I don't like about it is that I like the way my laundry detergent and downy smell better than whatever they use. But hey, no laundry is awesome!

Re: Do you tip?

I always give them a couple dollars - my clothes are always perfect, nothing's ever been missing, and the same girl does it every time. She knows who I am and definitely takes care of my stuff - why wouldn't I show some appreciation Chat Icon
