do you think...(18 week appt)
The dr will do a sono?
I had a 6wk and 12week sono....my anatomy scan is next week at the hospital but I'm really hoping he does one and he can tell if it a boy or girl....I really wanna be able to announce it on Thanksgiving

I didn't have one but the only sono my DR. did was the internal 8 week. I went to LIJ for both the 12 & 20 week. Couldn't hurt to ask!

Probably not. I had my sonos at 6w, 9w, 10w, 17 (amnio) 20w, and then not again until I ended up in the hospital.
I had a few in the beginning because I saw a RE.
SO unless you are having issues they usually do nto do one between the 12 and 20 w.

I doubt it especially if you have one set for next week. The only way I can see him doing one is if you are having problems. I know, it sux to have to wait

I had ultrasounds at 7w and 12w, and won't have another until 20w. My 16w appt is just for bloodwork and to meet with the doctor.

Ask him, you never know! At my 18 week appt he just listened for the heartbeat, took my blood pressure and weighed me but no sono. Tell him what your plans are and maybe he can set one up for you quickly.

 yup nope no sono....and he was too busy to even try to squeeze it in plus he doesnt like to confirm sex
oh well one more week til I know!
